Anonymous 101: Introduction to the Lulz | Threat Level | Wired.com. November 8, 2011

an excellent piece, refered to by Masnick on Techdirt, “understanding Anonymous: the culture of Lulz” 9 November 2011 (thanks). For me who is not a tech person and will never be, it just confirms what I felt. Anonymous allows for dissent, for satire, so needed today as it was before. The fool was the only one allowed to mock (laugh out laud) the King (or Queen), sometimes taking risks others who would not have dare taken and often risks more than his position. Anonymous is our modern fool, the one that disturbs and dare say what nobody wants to hear, especially not the powers-which-are. So although I don’t always agree with what they do, it would not occur to me to use them as scapegoats for problems that they will never be able to solve on their own. lol
